Domestic Papers

Lee Steiner, native Texan, is a life-long artist and maker with a love of everything paper. Domestic Papers is her East End, Houston studio in which she creates handmade books, each with a “vintage vibe,” such as writing journals made from library discards, travel journals with antique map covers, and day books and sketchbooks featuring vintage paper ephemera cover art.

Lee makes every unique book by hand and loves sharing these ancient techniques in bookbinding workshops for local museums and art groups as well as in private lessons in her own studio.

Espacio Pop-Up Shop

Espacio started in the Spring of 2018 after a creative retreat to San Miguel, Mexico. It was there where we were inspired and encouraged to grow something out of our creative passion. We headed back to our kitchen tables in Houston, Texas and got to work beading one bracelet at a time! We find so much joy in helping women achieve their everyday look by customizing their uniform as they wear our jewelry from carpool to cocktails.
